A virtual private server, or VPS, behaves like a separate computer. It has its own operating system, storage allocation and administrator access. Its physical host may be shared with other customers.
A full VPS lets you install applications, keep files and choose tools around Hermes. Some hosted assistant workspaces restrict those choices; compare their actual access and storage rules. On Free and Plus, you hold the provider account and choose storage or upgrades with that provider.
