A backup lets you recover data if the original is lost or damaged. Encryption prevents someone without the key from reading that copy. Assistant memory is stored data, not a backup of itself.
Choose a backup tool or provider and include Hermes settings, memory, files and other application data. Keep a copy outside the VPS and test that you can restore it. Backups are your responsibility on every plan.
