Check the access and recovery rules of your backup provider. A server snapshot is not automatically a separately encrypted archive.
SmarterBrain does not store your backups or their passwords. Keep the recovery keys somewhere you can reach without the VPS. Losing the only key may make an encrypted backup unusable.
